Paris-Saclay is a world-class scientific and technological innovation centre and a residency that combines urban centres with qualitative natural and agricultural landscapes. Its dense and diversified ecosystem includes 15% of public research and 15% of industrial R&D activities in high technology sectors. Major groups such as Airbus, Air Liquide, Danone, EDF, GE, Ipsen, JCDecaux, Renault, Safran, Servier,
Thales, Total, etc., are active participants that collaborate with all innovation communities: start-ups, SMEs, investors, academic clusters, national research organisations, and innovation sites. Their goal is to intellectually enrich the region to meet the challenges of a global economy undergoing core changes with
an adaptation to the innovation models of the 21st century.
La French Tech Paris-Saclay is a non-profit organisation of innovative entrepreneurs representing the interests of the start-up community, scaleups and project developers based in the Paris-Saclay region, Yvelines, and Essonne on local, national and international levels.
La French Tech Paris-Saclay aims to unite this community to defend, promote and support start-ups that share common values, focusing mainly on producing disruptive innovations (« Deep Tech ») without geographical or sectoral compartmentalisation.
Twelve members make up The French Tech Paris-Saclay Board: ten start-ups that portray the community’s diversity (more than 600 start-ups) and two very involved catalysts. Together and individually, they embody the French Tech at a Paris-Saclay territory level.
