Located at the heart of the Paris-Saclay plateau since 2018, theInstitut Photovoltaïque d’Île-de-France (IPVF) is a research center that puts its infrastructure and expertise at the service of deeptech companies.
Our 8000m² platform houses 3500m² of clean rooms equipped with over 200 state-of-the-art instruments. These facilities enable us to cover the entire value chain: advanced materials manufacturing, fine characterization and numerical modeling. Our areas of expertise include semiconductors, photonics and thin-film technologies, with cross-disciplinary applications in space, mobility, medical andenergy.
The IPVF is already supporting several innovative companies in their technological development, including Quandela and NcodiN. In 2025, the institute will expand its capabilities with a pilot line dedicated to the manufacture of perovskite thin films , the first infrastructure of its kind in Europe.
In addition to providing space and access to equipment, the IPVF offers a truly collaborative ecosystem where startups, SMEs and industrial groups can develop their R&D projects, pool skills and accelerate innovation.

Boost Campus : where industry meets science Located in the heart of the Saclay plateau, Boost Campus brings together research laboratories and production activities in a single location. The laboratories are fully equipped (L1 / L2), from benchtop to fume cupboard, with fluids for use in biochemistry and chemistry, back-up systems, sprinklers and 24/24 maintenance. The laboratories are ready for use and available from autumn 2025.
