C2N – Centre de nanosciences et de nanotechnologies

Company presentation

The C2N, a laboratory resulting from the merger in 2016 of the Institute of Fundamental Electronics of Orsay and the Laboratory of Photonics and Nanostructures of Marcoussis, is one of the major academic laboratories of the Paris Saclay campus.

C2N has 4 scientific departments, 6 technology platforms, physics, optics and biology laboratories. The workforce is 410 people including 120 researchers and 80 technical staff.

Offer description

The C2N has the particularity of hosting a large micro and nanotechnology plant which covers 2900m2 of clean rooms. This allows him to have the entire device manufacturing chain, from the epitaxy of semiconductor layers to nanofabrication, including the characterization of thin layers or devices. As part of the large technology centers organized in the "Renatech" network, the laboratory staff can, after analyzing the feasibility, take charge of all or part of your projects, and carry them out in the form of a service thanks to the equipment of micro-nanofabrication or characterization. We can also offer the possibility of accessing our machines, subject to conditions. Procedure: you can submit a project or feasibility request on the renatech.org site, specifying the C2N as the target center in the event that you wish to discuss your project directly with us.
